Devin Wynne

Class of 2024
Pre-Vet Option, Equine and Companion Animal Emphasis

From: Mount. Airy, MD

Growing up: Devin had all sorts of animals and even considered her house a petting zoo. From horses to snakes and geckos, Devin loves animals of all kinds. Devin is lucky to have parents who knew from day one she was destined to be a veterinarian and supported her through every step of the way. Her true passion came from being in a horse camp when she was six years old. She now owns a twenty-seven-year-old off the racetrack thoroughbred who she loves dearly even though he can be grumpy.

Extracurriculars:

  • Pre-Vet Club
  • Equine Volunteer Program
  • Teaching Assistant for Chem 1014
  • APSC Student Ambassador
  • Animal Care Technician, Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine

After Graduation: Devin plans to attend vet school with the hopes of becoming an equine veterinarian although she is not opposed to dabbling in other animals too!

Favorite Part about APSC: No matter where you came from or what animal experience you start with this program accepts you with open arms. You never feel like you don't fit in or are not enough and you are able to find your own path.
