Growing up: Emma has always loved being around animals. When she first shadowed at a veterinary clinic in her hometown, she knew that this is what she is meant to do.

After Graduation: Emma hopes to go to veterinary school to become an exotic animal veterinarian. She would love to work in either a zoo or with companion exotics such as rabbits, bearded dragons, and parrots.

Favorite Part about APSC: APSC gives you so many opportunities to work with animals you may have never gotten a chance to work with before. Coming from a pretty urban area I had never worked with livestock before.  Everyone in the program is so welcoming and will help you no matter where you start and I  love how much of a community the APSC program is. No matter if you are pre-vet, agriculture business, or just love animals, you will find a group of people that share your interests and passions.
