Growing up: Grace has been passionate about caring for animals since she was little. When she was 10, she joined Pony Club which taught her about horsemanship and quickly fell in love with horses. During high school, she worked at her local animal clinic as a kennel attendant.
Extracurriculars:
- APSC Ambassador, President
- Applied Animal Behavior & Welfare Lab at Virginia Tech, Research Assistant
After Graduation: Grace hopes to attend vet school and become a veterinarian for the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. She later hopes to own and manage a mixed species animal clinic.
Favorite Part about APSC: “In my experience, the best part about our major is the wide variety of people, opportunities, and experiences that are different for each person. Having so many options allows students to get involved with what they are interested in and find other people with similar interests.”
