Noah Willis
Production/Business Option, Livestock and Equine Emphasis
From: Wytheville, VA
Growing up: Noah never grew up on a farm or with any real agricultural experience except for living in a small rural town. However, after taking an internship at a vet clinic in high school, learning more about large-animal veterinary science, and working on a beef farm for a summer, he fell in love with the idea of being a large-animal veterinarian and furthering the development of veterinary technology.
Extracurriculars:
- APSC Ambassador
- Undergraduate TA for Intro APSC Lab
- Member of Chi Alpha Campus Ministry
After Graduation: Noah hopes to attend veterinary school and return to his hometown area and practice as a large-animal veterinarian.
Favorite Part about APSC: “My favorite part about APSC is the amount of opportunities you can explore within the program. It is so much more than just a focus on one field or one discipline. Furthermore, pursuing a degree in Animal and Poultry Science allows students to explore pathways they have never had experience in, work with a variety of animals, and develop practical skills they can use regardless of their plans after graduation.”
